LV MECHANICS / DIESEL MECHANICS / FITTERS- LOCAL/DIDO/FIFO
BDS Mechanical Repairs AUS Pty Ltd is looking for skilled LV Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and Diesel Fitters to join our expanding team. We offer both full-time and casual positions, with a variety of Local, DIDO, and FIFO opportunities. Enjoy flexible rosters designed to fit your lifestyle.

We provide professional mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding repairs, available both in-house and on-site. With 22 fully equipped workshops across Queensland and a fleet of more than 160 field service units, we support operations over an area of 600,000 km² throughout Queensland and Western Australia. Your duties will include:
- Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
- General Repairs/maintenance works – LVs/4x4s, Trucks & Trailers
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
- Earthmoving and mobile plant experience a bonus
- Checking vehicle lighting systems
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Valid license
- Diagnostic experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
