JWS are currently seeking Shutdown Supervisors to assist with a Major Shutdown based at Bluewater's Power Station, Collie WA. Due to commence in April 2026 for a duration of approximately four weeks.
We are looking to appoint qualified and experienced shutdown Supervisors. This role is hands-on and site-based, responsible for supervising crews, coordinating works, and ensuring shutdown activities are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The shutdown will include 10.5‐hour day shifts and 12‐hour night shifts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Supervisor with strong leadership skills and proven shutdown experience in heavy industry or power generation environments.
The successful applicant will have:
* Trade Qualifications – Boilermaking/Mechanical
* Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Accreditation
* OHS Construction Induction (White/Blue Card)
* Confined Space - within the last two years
* Working at Heights card - within the last two years
* Previous experience as a Shutdown Supervisor (power stations or heavy industry)
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and shutdown scopes
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical test
