About the Role
We are actively expanding our team to cover the Gold Coast region, seeking individuals who embody a \"can-do\" attitude, honesty, trustworthiness, and excellent people skills.
This is a technician/skilled handyman position, with a focus on repairing sliding doors, windows and screens. Your responsibilities include:
* Technical Repairs:
o Expertly servicing and repairing various sliding doors and windows, such as glass sliding doors, screen doors, sliding windows, and double-hung windows.
* Customer Interaction:
o Visiting customers at their locations to perform on-site servicing and repairs, establishing a friendly rapport.
o Handling payment transactions efficiently during service visits.
* Assessment and Quoting:
o Conducting on-site assessments to evaluate the extent of necessary repairs.
o Providing customers with accurate repair quotes and estimates.
* Data Management:
o Efficiently using our technician portal to manage and update essential information.
* Coordination with Head Office:
o Scheduling — Collaborating with head office to update and coordinate job schedules.
o Stock ordering — Communicating with the head office to place orders for inventory and supplies as needed for the business.
o Quote pricing — Working with the head office team to determine and finalise pricing for quotes provided to customers.
o Customer payment/enquiries — Handling customer inquiries related to payments and assisting with resolution, as well as relaying relevant information to head office.
* Vehicle Maintenance:
o Ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained, both externally and internally, with all necessary tools and equipment stocked.
* Teamwork and Adaptability:
o Collaborating with fellow technicians when required to efficiently complete tasks.
o Adapting to additional responsibilities as the job demands.

Requirements
To do this job well, you need to have:
* A valid manual Australian driver's licence.
* Experience in sliding door, window & screen repairs is an advantage.
* Suit glazier or carpenter - would be an advantage.
* A team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
