Join Wymap Group as a Casual Ground Handler / Airline Service Operator based at Sydney Airport Cargo.
About the role
We're looking for motivated and safety-focused Ground Handlers / Airline Service Operators to join our team in a fast‐paced airside environment.
You'll play an important role in supporting aircraft operations and ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
What your day will look like:
Responsibilities
* Operating ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs and loaders
* Driving airside vehicles including tugs and vans
* Assisting with aircraft servicing and turnaround activities
* Working closely with operational staff to meet service schedules and KPIs
* Following all WHS, aviation, and airport safety procedures
* Completing operational paperwork, checklists, and activity reports
* Communicating professionally with internal teams, customers, and airport authorities
* Reporting hazards, incidents, and safety concerns as required
Qualifications
* Current valid driver's licence
* Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
* Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Authority (ADA) highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced operational environment
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Flexible availability across mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends
* Previous aviation or ground handling experience highly regarded but not essential
