The Role:
We are currently seeking applications for committed and willing candidates who have already started their apprenticeship (2nd or 3rd year) and ready to take their training and skillset to the next level. You will be based in our Mount Isa, QLD Branch, and will travel out to site, offering you a wide variety of work and experience.
On a day-to-day basis you will be expected to assist on site, follow directions and complete tasks set out by tradesmen so your ability to successfully listen and take direction is critical. In addition, there may be opportunity for you to travel to our workshops in Parkes and Thornton and, where appropriate, spend time on one of our project sites which will give you invaluable experience and exposure to a variety of working environments.
Requirements:
* Ability to listen and follow complex instructions
* Genuine interest and commitment to completing your trade certificate
* A work approach that shows a willingness to work to quality standards and meet expectations
* Computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies and tools
* Currently 2nd / 3rd year in your apprenticeship
* Perform basic scheduled vehicle servicing on a wide range of vehicles
* Perform basic Mechanical Maintenance
* Assist the Technicians as required
* A valid drivers license
* Adhere to all relevant safety and quality standards
