Payroll Expertise in Education
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our school community. This role involves managing payroll operations and supporting the daily activities of our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process accurate, timely payroll on a fortnightly basis, ensuring compliance with College policies and ATO requirements.
* Maintain employee records, leave entitlements, superannuation, and salary deductions, exercising discretion and accuracy when handling sensitive data.
* Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff and stakeholders, providing excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Perform general administrative duties as directed by leadership, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in payroll processing, preferably within an education setting.
* Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance standards.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and organisation skills.
* High level of discretion and accuracy in handling sensitive data.
Additional Requirements: A valid National Police Check (NPC) and a Working with Children Check (Employee)
