Airport Grounds Maintenance & Landscape Professional
* Maintain and enhance airport grounds and infrastructure, including lawn mowing, weed control, mulching, weeding, litter collection, and tree care.
* Apply herbicides and insecticides as required.
* Perform minor repairs to fencing, roads, signage, pavements, irrigation systems, and other airport facilities.
* Support airside operations, including surface maintenance, vegetation management, and stockpile organization.
* Assist with events, storm clean-ups, and emergency responses.
* Collaborate with external contractors when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and Enhancement of Airport Grounds: Ensure airport grounds are well-manicured and maintained, creating a positive first impression for visitors and passengers.
* Surface Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and make repairs to surfaces, including paving, asphalt, and concrete.
* Vegetation Management: Control weeds and vegetation using appropriate methods and equipment.
* Support Airside Operations: Collaborate with air traffic controllers, pilots, and ground crew members to ensure safe and efficient airport operations.
* Emergency Response: Participate in emergency response efforts, including storm clean-ups and crisis management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma or Certificate in Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in airport maintenance or landscaping.
* Knowledge of herbicides, insecticides, and other chemicals used in landscape maintenance.
* Familiarity with tools and equipment used in landscaping and maintenance tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Information
