Therapeutic Foster Care Specialist
A Social Work Agency is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join their team as a Therapeutic Foster Care Specialist. This role will involve working with children and young people in foster care, providing therapeutic support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, preferably with experience in child protection and out-of-home care. They will be passionate about promoting the rights and well-being of vulnerable children and families, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic support to children and young people in foster care
- Develop and implement individualised plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports to inform future service development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
- 2+ years' experience in child protection and out-of-home care
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and attachment theory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
