About the Role
The Workshop Fleet Operations Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the effective management of Council’s Fleet services. This position is designed for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to assist in maintaining our fleet and ensuring it operates at peak performance. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, making this a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy collaboration and problem-solving. Some of the key responsibilities include:
* Support and maintain internal customer service relating to Fleet Workshop services.
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly scheduled maintenance calendar
* Coordinate, support and maintain workshop purchase orders, stock requisitions and work orders.
* Assist the manager with logistics when the Emergency Operations Centre is operational.
About You
We are seeking a proactive individual who possesses a blend of logistical knowledge and hands-on experience within fleet operations. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and possess the following:
* Demonstrated research, problem solving and analytical skills.
* Strong organisational skills to manage fluctuating workloads and changing priorities effectively.
* Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Suite applications.
