RedDoor is a community-focused not-for-profit organisation in the North West Queensland, providing a range of services, including NDIS supports, SIL homes, social enterprise initiatives, and local youth engagement and training programs. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact, and we need a reliable Administration Officer to help keep things running smoothly.
About the Role:
As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for managing office operations, supporting various departments, and ensuring efficient communication with stakeholders. This role requires someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and confident in using different IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer and manage phone calls and emails professionally.
* Provide general administrative support across different departments.
* Assist with scheduling, data entry, document creation and document management.
* Maintain compliance records and assist with regulatory requirements.
* Support HR with recruitment and onboarding tasks.
* Prepare reports, internal communications, and documentation.
* Manage travel arrangements (minimal).
* Work with various software systems and quickly adapt to new platforms.
What We're Looking For:

* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
* Strong IT skills – ability to learn new software quickly.
* Attention to detail – accuracy and efficiency in administrative tasks.

* Previous experience in administration, customer service, or business support.
* Familiarity with compliance requirements (NDIS experience is a bonus but not essential).
* Experience using CRM / database systems.
* Strong internet service and quiet home office (if working remote)
