The position of Manager Research Operations and Strategy plays a pivotal role in leading the overall performance and strategic direction of the Research & Ethics Unit. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring effective governance, financial stability, and strong staff engagement to drive research success.

As a key member of the team, the Manager will work closely with researchers and stakeholders to determine business strategies that meet operational goals related to research. This involves making informed judgements, identifying challenges, and developing operational plans to achieve service excellence.
Some of the key tasks include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive research growth and excellence
2. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Research & Ethics Unit, including financial management and staff supervision
3. Ensuring adherence to internal and external governance requirements, including research ethics and regulatory compliance
4. Maintaining effective relationships with researchers, stakeholders, and other key partners
In addition to these responsibilities, the Manager will also be expected to:
