Your Role
As Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of a designated section and play a key role in delivering high-end cuisine aligned with qualia's luxury standards. Working under the guidance of the Head and Sous Chefs, you'll be responsible for precision, consistency, and creativity in every dish – whether à la carte or degustation.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Manage your section during service and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently
Execute daily mise en place and prep for both Pebble Beach and The Long Pavilion
Maintain excellent plating, timing, and cleanliness across your station
Uphold hygiene standards and food safety protocols at all times
Assist in training and mentoring Commis and Demi Chefs
Contribute to menu development and new dish ideas
Deliver consistent quality and presentation to exceed guest expectations
What We're Looking For
You are a detail-focused, career-driven chef with solid technical ability and a love for contemporary Australian cuisine. You take pride in your work, thrive under pressure, and are committed to contributing to a high-performance team.
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
2+ years' experience in a Chef de Partie or strong Demi role in a high-end or hatted venue
Excellent time management and kitchen organisation skills
Understanding of refined plating, portion control, and seasonal produce
Passion for sustainability, local sourcing, and culinary innovation
Ability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events
Valid Australian working rights
Manual open driver's licence (preferred)
