The Role:
The Fuels Support Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and procurement support like raising purchasing orders, tracking fuel order & deliveries and ensuring accurate documentation is maintained within the fuel operations function.
Special Requirement
Contract Period: 6 months
5 days a week role, based in the Head Office, Adelaide.
Your contributions
- Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) for fuel and related products/services in accordance with organisational procurement policies.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to confirm order details, pricing, delivery schedules, and terms.
- Monitor and track outstanding orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including POs, invoices, delivery schedules, and correspondence.
- Reconcile fuel deliveries against POs and ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Assist in monitoring fuel inventory levels and initiating queries where required and close-out with solutions.
What we are looking for
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- High level of accuracy is crucial for maintaining financial records
- Record and maintain financial records, documents and information in an organised manner
- Strong and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
