A leading financial services organisation is undertaking a significant digital transformation of its customer-facing platforms. As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the frontend architecture and leading the delivery of modern, scalable web applications used by customers and internal stakeholders across a high-volume distribution channel.
This role blends hands‐on engineering with technical leadership, working closely with product, UX, backend engineers, and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Own frontend architecture decisions, standards, and best practices
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to frontend engineers
* Partner with product and design to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences
* Drive CI/CD, testing, and code quality practices across the frontend stack
* Collaborate with backend and platform teams on API integration and system design
Skills & Experience
* 7+ years of frontend engineering experience in modern web applications
* Strong expertise in React (or similar modern frameworks) and TypeScript
* Experience designing scalable frontend architectures and component libraries
* Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG)
* Experience working in large, regulated or enterprise environments
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Exposure to cloud-hosted platforms and CI/CD pipelines is highly regarded
