Followmont Transport is seeking a dedicated and responsible Local MC Driver to become a key part of our Cairns team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work with attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you! We are looking for a reliable individual to handle the safe pick-up and delivery of a Bulk freight, all while adhering to our established rules and regulations.
What You Will Be Doing
Position: Full-time, PermanentHours: 7am Start Monday to Friday (guaranteed hours)Regular OT (Weekend work)Start Date: Immediate start availableLocation: Local Cairns regionResponsibilities:Complete pickups and deliveries of Bulk general freightSafely and efficiently manage deliveries on time and in fullWork in a Steady Paced Environment while consistently maintaining a high standard of safety and accuracyAdhere to established rules, regulations, and processes to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications
12 months experience in a similar role in a structured environmentMust hold a current MC LicenceForklift Licence is desirable but not mandatoryA professional mindset with a robust sense of accountability and commitment to meeting goalsAbility to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and criminal history check
