Key Role Information
We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist Consultant to collaborate with schools and students who face complex challenges. As a crucial member of our Service Response team, you will provide expert services and psychological guidance, contributing to comprehensive responses to high-risk issues affecting child safety and wellbeing.
Primary Responsibilities
* Collaborate effectively within a diverse team, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Offer consultation to schools, regions, and other entities to enhance systems and outcomes.
* Facilitate cooperation between lead school psychologists, schools, regions, and Statewide Services, as well as external agencies, in developing specific intervention programs for students with complex educational needs.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is a requirement for working as a School Psychologist Consultant.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, provide feedback, and critically evaluate the management of complex issues.
* Strategic leadership skills and capacity to build expertise, influence policy, and implement interventions and prevention programs.
* Demonstrated experience in coordinating specialized support and delivering professional learning to various audiences.
