The Data and Digitalisation Branch at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to support the Cloud Campus Program Management Office (PMO) by providing, governance, management, artefacts, processes and assurance to ensure effective program delivery and support various governance boards. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Cloud Campus Program in ensuring that CIT has effective and robust program delivery governance, artefacts and processes to ensure the seamless and transparent tracking of Program and project activities. Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Director, Cloud Campus PMO in implementing and promoting best practices and continuous improvement in program and project management within the Data and Digital Transformation Branch through establishing and/or refining program and project management toolsets and templates. Assist in establishing consistent and measurable methods for the effective oversight and reporting of the performance of the program and its projects. Analyse project performance metrics versus planned objectives to guide improvements. Compile regular governance reports which highlight key metrics and performance indicators. Support the financial oversight and tracking of budgets for projects and programs with support from the Strategic Finance and Transformation Branch. Support the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues across projects and programs. Support change control processes and maintain up to date, accurate program artefacts and knowledge management. Oversight the management of the CIT Cloud Campus inbox, responding to more complex ad hoc queries on the status of the program and live projects. Support project managers with best practice project management techniques, including planning and reporting and ensuring project records are captured effectively. Provide insights and recommendations for improving project workflows and timelines. Contribute to internal program assurance and support external audit and assurance activities as required. Oversight secretariat support for the Project Control Group, Program Board, Sponsorship Board and other governance committees, develop agendas, prepare papers and contribute to the secretariat function as required. Coordinate and provide quality control of documents and monitoring of all papers being tabled in governance meetings, for accurate and consistent production. Undertake other duties as required to support the successful execution of the Cloud Campus program. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Highly Desirable : Relevant qualifications and experience such as PRINCE2, PRINCE2 AGILE, P3M, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP). Demonstrated experience in program or project management within a complex organisational environment. Proficiency in the use of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar), strong command of MS Excel for data analysis. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
