The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the Philosophy, Objectives, and Policies of the Aged Care Facility and is accountable to the CN/Site Manager.
This position requires a professional role model capable of planning, organizing, and leading staff in an Aged Care environment that meets standards set by the Federal Government.

* Adhering to all aged care standards and legislation
* Acting to rectify unsafe nursing practices or professional conduct issues
* Maintaining current professional knowledge and skills
* Participating in continuing education within the facility and through external courses
* Meeting annual educational requirements
* Providing effective leadership to staff
* Acting as a role model
* Participating in research programs
