What is your role?

As Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team with the day‐to‐day accounting operations of the business. You'll be hands‐on with transactional accounting while gaining exposure to broader commercial processes across our national business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
* Raising client invoices/credits
* Managing a portfolio of debtors.
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with month‐end processes.
* Supporting accurate financial reporting and contributing to process improvements.
* Collaborating with the finance and project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial outcomes.

About You
* Qualifications: Degree in Business or Accounting.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting team, with a strong background in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable within a high‐volume invoicing environment. Experience with Payroll is highly advantageous. Experience working in a professional services environment is preferred.
* Technical skills: Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (MYOB experience advantageous).
* Attributes: Detail‐oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
