Addesso is a doctor-led skin and aesthetics clinic in Townsville, dedicated to evidence-based treatments, results-driven skincare, and an exceptional client experience. We are expanding our team and seeking a passionate and professional Skin Therapist to deliver advanced skin treatments and help our clients feel confident in their own skin.
A minimum of 1-2 years of skin therapy experience is essential.
This part-time/ full time / casual position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality skin treatments including facials, peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, skin needling, and LED therapy.
* Assist with treatment plans for clients, ensuring results are aligned with client goals and clinic protocols.
* Educate clients on skincare, home care routines, and product recommendations.
* Maintain strict infection control and hygiene standards in line with Queensland skin penetration licensing and NHMRC guidelines.
* Keep accurate and detailed client records, before-and-after photos, and treatment notes.
* Support clinic operations including reception duties, and ensuring treatment rooms are well-presented.
* Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and other therapists as part of a supportive, professional team.
Qualifications & Skills
* Diploma of Beauty Therapy or Certificate in Beauty Therapy desirable but not essential
* 1–2+ years' experience in a skin clinic, spa, or aesthetics environment (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
* Strong knowledge of skin conditions, and evidence-based treatments.
* Excellent communication skills with a client-first, results-driven mindset.
* Professional presentation and a passion for ongoing education in skin and aesthetics.
* Familiarity with medical-grade devices (e.g., skin needling, LED, peels) is highly desirable.
