Job Description and responsibilities
Prior experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding is preferred but not required.
Job would suit a driven and career-minded individual looking to enter a profession as a Customs Broker.
As a Customs Clearance Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our customs clearance and freight forwarding team.
Your work within the team will ensure compliant and regulated efficient clearance and delivery of goods.
Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, depots, airlines, overseas agents, suppliers and internal staff
Job registration, document processing
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status
Other general administrative support, such as answering phones and clerical administrative roles.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask with accurate data entry skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Drivers license
An interest in the industry is preferred.
