PMO consultancy, which works closely with a number of private and government clients, has a newly created role for a Test Analyst opened. This role has come about due to new initiatives from their client base over the next few years.
The Testing Analysts will primarily conduct tests for all configuration changes for the platform's solutions. The Testing analyst will design, develop, and administer a series of tests and evaluations that identify any potential issues with platform configuration before its general release to their client base.
Some duties many include:
- Analysing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with Development Teams, Solutions Architect and Client Teams
- Design, develop and execute all levels of testing of all configurations changes in Development and SIT Environments
- Design and develop test automation where possible
- Detect, raise and track software defects and inconsistencies to closure
- Provide timely solutions for any defects identified
- Provide Testing support and documentation in Azure Dev Ops
- Design, develop and review appropriate metrics needed to evaluate test performance and platform quality by developing relevant dashboards and reports. Actively drive consulting firm in increasing the Testing Maturity
Ideally you will have some of the following:
- Tertiary Qualifications in IT is preferred.
- You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline, NV1) personnel security clearance.
- At least 2-4 years' experience in testing position
- Able to research and write up a project related brief
- Automated testing (desirable)
- Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to see the big picture.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in document and report writing.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Awareness of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Logical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Agile Development software.
