We are a leading manufacturer of packaging with distribution and manufacturing sites across Australia.
We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit warehouse staff to join our Latrobe team on a casual basis for the busy seasonal period.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on warehouse role involving unpacking import containers, general warehousing duties, liaising with stakeholders, and allocating freight.
You will be part of a dynamic team supporting our operations during peak season.
Key Responsibilities
Unloading containers with manual handling (lifting up to 15 kilos)
Receiving and putaway stock accurately
Pick and pack outgoing orders accurately
Housekeeping and maintaining a clean work environment
Moving container contents
Documenting allocated work
Unloading and loading trucks
Liaising with couriers and transport providers
Stocktaking and inventory management
Other tasks as required
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
Punctual, reliable and committed to rostered shifts
Ability to work overtime when required
RF Scanning experience required
Skills and Experience
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within timeframes
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Previous warehouse experience highly regarded
At least 1 year+ forklift driving experience
Health and Safety
Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
Adherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
Participation in safety inductions and ongoing training
Reporting of hazards and incidents in accordance with company policy
Working safely with machinery, equipment and in a team environment
