We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Baker Assistant Team Member to join our bakery team. Located in Molendinar. This is a casual role, offering a Monday to Friday position of set hours 8am to 2pm. This role is based behind the scenes, helping prepare products for sale, keeping the workspace clean, and supporting the day-to-day running of production.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare bakery items and products according to shop standards
* Working with timelines
* Assisting our bakers in the preparation of a variety of freshly baked goods, including pastries and desserts
* Maintain a clean and hygienic preparation area at all times
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
* Operate equipment safely and report any issues
* Help with stock rotation, storage, and basic production tasks
* Work closely with the team to meet daily production needs
What We're Looking For
* Experience in food preparation, hospitality, or kitchen work is preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong ability to manage time
* Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and detail
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
* Understanding of safe food handling practices
* Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
