Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and well-respected Emergency Department Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of services.
In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will be responsible for coordinating doctors' rosters, supporting onboarding and orientation, maintaining accurate records, and providing high-level administrative support to the Site Director and Deputy Site Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate Doctors' Rosters: Collaborate with Site Directors and the recruitment/workforce management team to ensure efficient rostering.
2. Support Onboarding and Orientation: Assist new doctors with credentialing, hospital access, documentation, and IT setups.
3. Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure compliance records (e.g. AHPRA registration, insurance, provider numbers) are up-to-date.
4. Organize Travel and Accommodation: Arrange for visiting doctors as required.
5. Assist with VMO On-Call Roster Management.
