About The Role
Cater Care is looking for a friendly and reliable
Casual Catering Assistant
to join our team at an aged care residence in
Armadale
.
You'll play an important role in creating enjoyable mealtimes by assisting with food service and ensuring residents feel welcomed and supported.
Salary:
$25.85 per hour + casual loading & penalty rates
Roster:
Flexible shifts available across the week hours per week)
What This Role Involves
* Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
* Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
* Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
* Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills And Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
* Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
