About the role
Seeking a talented and experienced Draftsperson to join our dynamic team at ModnPods, a leading innovator in the modular housing industry. In this full-time role based in Arundel, QLD, you will play a crucial part in designing and developing cutting-edge modular housing solutions. Leveraging your expertise in architectural drafting, you will contribute to the strategic growth and success of our business.
What you'll be doing
* Producing detailed architectural drawings and 2D/3D models for a range of modular building projects
* Collaborating closely with the engineering and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and construction compliance
* Conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities for design optimisation and innovation
* Providing technical support and guidance to project stakeholders, including clients and external partners
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in architectural drafting
* Mentoring and training junior members of the drafting team
What we're looking for
* 2+ years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in the modular or prefabricated construction industry
* Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models
* Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve design challenges
