Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Technical Instructor to join our Aircraft Sustainment & Training team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality aviation training, supporting student development and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aviation Maintenance Engineer or qualified Aircraft/Electrical Engineer to work on delivering aviation and technical manager training to the Australian Defence Force.
The key responsibilities of this role include undertaking facilitation and delivery of Technical Training, supervision of Australian Defence Force personnel, provision of specialisation skills and advice, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, government and industry partners, designing and developing training solutions and documentation, and guiding and mentoring Defence trainees and students.

* To design and develop training solutions and documentation that meet stakeholder requirements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated industry experience as a qualified Aviation Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Aircraft/Electrical Engineers with significant experience in Aviation Safety Regulations. A certificate III/IV in Aeroskills, higher qualification, or current EASA/CASA Licence will be highly regarded. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) or technical training instructor experience will also be highly regarded.
A strong communication and interpersonal skillset, along with the ability to develop effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, is essential. Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain, White Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or eligibility to obtain, and eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations are also required.
