Job Overview:
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen and service areas.
Main Responsibilities:
* Evaluate cleanliness and organisation to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
* Clean and sanitise utensils, dishes and equipment to support efficient kitchen operations.
* Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
* Deep clean kitchens to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar role or equivalent training in food hygiene and safety procedures.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring seamless collaboration.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and workplace health and safety standards.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
