Job Overview
AECOM Defence Work encompasses a broad and diverse scope of activities, spanning base estate infrastructure development, environmental contamination assessments (e.g. PFAS remediation), sustainability, and climate-resilience studies.
We deliver Defence projects end-to-end, from planning and design through to construction, project management, advisory services, and long-term support.
* Our work is located across all Australian states and territories, providing opportunities to work in different regions and support national Defence commitments.
Key Qualifications and Skills
* Australian citizenship or eligibility for baseline Defence security clearance (or preparedness to obtain it)
* Relevant qualifications or professional experience in one or more areas:
o Civil / structural / mechanical / electrical / geotechnical engineering
o Environmental science / remediation / PFAS / environmental assessments
o Project / construction management / program delivery
o Systems / digital / ICT / cyber / capability support / defence-specialist systems
o Advisory / planning / stakeholder community engagement / risk and compliance security
o Architecture / design / buildings / infrastructure / environmental planning
* Ability to adapt to diverse projects and locations
