Job Title: Residential Care Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Residential Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students in a residential setting and provide them with the care and support they need to thrive.
As a Residential Care Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising students and reinforcing values and behaviors that align with our organization's policy. You will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication with colleagues, parents, school staff, and other stakeholders involved in supporting student development and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to write plans, pastoral notes, and reports. They will also have demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise students and reinforce values and behaviors that align with our organization's policy.
* Maintain regular communication with colleagues, parents, school staff, and other stakeholders involved in supporting student development and wellbeing.
* Write plans, pastoral notes, and reports.
* Work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights.
* A current Working with Children Check if required.
* A First Aid Certificate – Provide CPR (HLTAID009) and First Aid Certificate – Provide First Aid (HLTAID011).
* An LR Class Driver's Licence and a Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation within six months of commencement of employment.
* A Certificate IV in Community Services – Student Residential Care (CHC42021) within six months of commencement of employment.
