Occupational Therapist - Aged Care - Peel Region
Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of older adults? We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated OT to join a welcoming residential aged care, home care team. You'll be working alongside a multidisciplinary group that includes a Physiotherapist and six supportive Therapy Assistants who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.
About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist in our team, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate closely with the Physiotherapist and Therapy Assistants to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to care planning reviews.
- Educate and support residents, families, and staff on strategies to improve functional outcomes.
- Participate in falls prevention initiatives and mobility programs.

About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with older adults in an aged care setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Previous experience in aged care is desirable but not essential
