We are seeking a skilled CHPP Mechanical Coordinator to join our team at the Centurion underground mine. Located 160 kilometres west of Mackay, our mine boasts a long history of excellence in underground coal mining.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Prep Plant Manager and be responsible for overseeing all mechanical maintenance and engineering projects at the CHPP. Key duties will include:
* Supervising contractors during maintenance days and major shutdowns.
* Planning, executing, and reporting work orders to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve optimal plant reliability, availability, and compliance.
* Leading by example and guiding the team of CHPP Technicians to maintain a safe working environment.
* Ensuring adherence to safety standards and operating cost budgets.
* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A strong commitment to integrity, safety, and performance.
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role in a CHPP environment.
* Extensive knowledge of coal processing and key drivers of a CHPP.
* A trade or engineering background is highly regarded.
* S1, 2, 3 & G2 Qualifications.
