You'll be joining a well-established Australian manufacturing business based in West Adelaide.This role has a clear focus on improving cost efficiency, driving process improvements, and supporting operational decision-making.Paying up to 130k + Super, this is a 6-month fixed-term contract role, with the possibility of going permanent for the right person.If you're a Management Accountant with strong manufacturing or production costing experience.
This is an opportunity to get stuck into real commercial challenges and have your work make a visible difference.You will get:Salary up to $130k + SuperHybrid working (3 office, 2 home), with on-site parking availableSuper commercial responsibilities and exposure to business partnering and production driversChance to extend or transition to permanent, depending on business needs at the end of the contractWhat you'll be doing:Managing and updating product costings, BOMs, and standard costsMonitoring and reporting on production variances (yield, wastage, efficiency)Preparing monthly management accounts and dashboardsSupporting budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate cost assumptionsPartnering with operational managers to provide insights into performance and cost-saving initiativesAnalysing inventory movements and valuationsAssisting with ad-hoc projects linked to process improvement and cost optimisationWhat you'll bring:Proven experience in management accounting within a manufacturing, FMCG, or production settingStrong knowledge of cost accounting, variances, and standard costingExperience with ERP systems (JDE desirable, but not essential)Ability to work independently, hit the ground running, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentCA/CPA qualification (or studying towards) preferred, but not essentialFor more information, please apply ASAP.Edward Mann Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
