We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Commercial Insurance team in Adelaide working for Partner Lauren McHugh.
About the team and the work
* Our national team has a diverse portfolio of complex claims, including catastrophic injury, dependency, and mental harm matters.
* The team advises on key legal issues such as indemnity, vicarious liability, fraud, causation, and extensions of time.
* You will gain practical litigation experience by drafting and collating legal documents, preparing chronologies and summaries and have the opportunity to develop your communication skills by liaising with judiciary, medical and legal professionals and clients.
* The team is a tight-knit and collaborative.

About you
* Able to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week on an ongoing basis.
* Ideally you will be in your 2nd or 3rd year of your law degree.
* Prior legal experience will be advantageous but not essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Have excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Available to commence immediately.
