Bring your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
Responsibilities
Utilize your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
Report daily to the Shift Supervisor and be under the management of the State Service Manager.
Conduct preventive servicing, data collection, as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
Promote a safety-first approach.
Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity to bring a wide collection of knowledge and skills to the role.
Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
Benefits / Conditions
5 weeks of annual leave (190 hours) plus 2 additional "Health and Happiness" leave days.
Uniforms provided and laundered.

Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off.
Exposure to the Aviation Industry.
Requirements / Qualifications
Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
Own tools.
Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
Current and valid Driver\'s License.
Strong focus on safety standards and company policies & procedures.
Experience working within procedural guidelines.
Good communication skills and proactiveness; able to work autonomously and as a team player.
Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
