5S Solutions & Management is seeking motivated, hands-on Implementation Specialists to join our growing casual labour pool supporting our FIFO mining projects across Western Australia.
This is not your standard consultancy role — we don't just provide improvement recommendations. We work alongside our clients to implement real operational improvements that are measurable and sustainable, delivering practical results in workshops, plant areas, and other on-site environments.
About the role:
This is a physical role that requires the use of hand tools and forklift. As an Implementation Specialist, you will support clients through the hands-on delivery of 5S and Lean workplace improvement initiatives, including:
* 5S implementation and workplace organisation
* Workshop and plant layout optimisation
* Visual management, labelling, and site set-outs
* General site support and project-based implementation work
* Identifying opportunities to improve safety, productivity, and standardisation
Ideal candidates will bring enough understanding of mining environments to offer meaningful suggestions and contribute to real, measurable change on-site.

The ability to work safely is essential, so applicants must demonstrate strong situational awareness, good judgement and the ability to work safely in an active industrial environment.
A strong understanding of 5S principles and Lean management systems will set you apart.
Mandatory Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must have:
* Construction White Card
* Current Manual Driver's Licence
* Forklift Ticket
* Current First Aid + CPR
* Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening
* National Police Clearance
* Australian Working Rights
* C Class (Australian unrestricted drivers license, or equivalent)
Highly Desired:
* Knowledge or experience in 5S/Lean systems of work
* Previous experience working in a trade / trade assistant role
* 2+ Years of mining/construction/industrial experience
* Working at heights ticket
* Previous experience working with Rio Tinto or Goldfields
Employment Type & Pay
This is a casual labour pool position, meaning successful applicants will be added to our workforce register and considered for upcoming project scopes as they arise.
Please note: Being accepted into the labour pool does not guarantee immediate or ongoing work. Inclusion means you have been assessed as a suitable candidate for future 5S and Lean implementation projects, and you may be engaged based on client needs, project availability, and role suitability.
* $35–$50 per hour ($3360 - $4800 per swing) 8/6 days only (Based on 8/6 Dayshift only FIFO roster)
* FIFO penalties included within the pay range
* Travel and accommodation provided
* Superannuation paid (as per Australian legislation)
* Pre-approved work-related expenses reimbursed where applicable
