About the role
The Service Coordinator is responsible for growing the Service and ensuring program sustainability over the short, medium, and long term. The role requires presenting a positive and professional image of BigDog when interacting with participants, family members, advocates, service providers, funding bodies, and the community.
As this role has a strong leadership focus, a personal commitment and passion for excellence are essential.
Responsibilities include:
* Undertake new client sign-ups, risk assessments, and support calculators in line with the participant onboarding procedure.
* Engage with stakeholders including support coordinators, participants, and family members/guardians to facilitate quality supports.
* Draft and develop participant NDIS reporting and monitor participant funding.
* Contribute to medication management procedures for participants.
* Act as the first/second line within the operations team for incident management of NDIS participants.
* Coordinate support workers providing services to participants.
* Perform monthly audits and quality checks to ensure service standards are maintained.
* Monitor and update participant information within BigDog's client management system.
* Engage in regular feedback and check-ins with participants.
* Assist with rostering to meet participant needs prior to service commencement, set base rosters, and update shift notes.
* Assist with administrative duties.
