The Role:
Reporting to the Store Manager your responsibilities will include:
1. Loading and unloading products.
2. Stock refill in stores.
3. Transfer of product.
4. Receipting of deliveries.
5. Making product claims on faulty and damaged goods.
6. Identifying/reporting hazards and issues.
7. Conducting stocktakes and cycle counts.
Up to 15 Hours Per Week!!
Who You Are:
8. Previous experience in a stock person position in a retail environment.
9. Ability to receive and process a high volume of stock.
10. Reasonable level of physical fitness to carry out related tasks.
11. Previous experience in sales/retail.
12. Knowledge of POS system or similar.
13. Flexible availability across 7-day trading.
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. An outgoing and friendly personality.
16. The ability to be proactive and take on new instructions/tasks.
To be successful in this role you must have a current drivers licence, experience being in a warehouse/retail stock environment for at least 6 months, a strong safety attitude, very good fitness (manual handling tasks) own transport, be a quick learner, and have good attention to detail.
You must be willing to work either a day shift, afternoon or night shift and will have a flexible and positive attitude, good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be safety and team focused.
