Human Resources Advisor Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of People & Performance, this position offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the ongoing development of a progressive and people-focused culture. You will be involved in a range of impactful initiatives that support the firms strategic goals and enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, talent attraction and selection, and offboarding processes.
* Support the delivery of key people initiatives across the firm, including performance management, renumeration, promotions and learning and development
* Actively participate in developing and implementing critical cultural, wellbeing and change management programs
* Provide support to the Head of People and Performance, including assistance with the fortnightly payroll processing and ensuring the HRIS is consistently updated and maintained
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience as an HR Coordinator and/or HR Advisor
* Tertiary qualifications (or studying towards) in Human Resources or Business
* Previous experience working in the professional services industry would be desirable
* Recruitment experience strongly desired
* Excellent communication and people skills, a positive attitude, and a confident polite manner
* Organisational skills that allow you to be process driven and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
* A positive attitude, motivation and a self-starter mind set, using your initiative to progress tasks efficiently and effectively
* Excellent attention to detail
* A desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach in a fast-paced environment
* High proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
* Developed knowledge of employment legislation including exposure to the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and Modern Awards eg: Legal Services Award
