The Role
This is a unique role with its mix of technical know-how and customer service focus, which supports our business, by providing customers an excellent experience - both before they buy and after they use our products and services. It is all about giving customers an easy, trouble free and enjoyable experience.
What you will enjoy doing
You take ownership of the region’s growth and retention strategy, including volume targets and margin setting, strategic customer planning, and implement and maintain a structured call cycle and sales pipeline
Maintaining a high level of customer focused activity, be out on the road serving your key customers as much as possible, you definitely do not like sitting in an office
Responsible for Customer Management: Deliver market leading service and support to SPW’s high value commercial customers in your region
Furthermore, you will be self-generating New Business, take the lead in identifying, developing, and commercializing new customers to SPW
You will skillfully move customers through the sales process by selling the value of SPW, utilizing negotiation and objection handling skills to navigate a win/win outcome for SPW and the customer
In addition to this, you will collaborate closely with local branch staff, fellow sales team members across, and industry stakeholders, to build a supporting network
Maintaining relevant data in our system and producing coherent reports that demonstrate your knowledge and strategic plan for your region
What makes you great
While demonstrated sales experience is valued, technical experience in welding and fabrication has a very strong appeal in consideration to the role
Your strong desire to serve customers, motivation to deliver a high level of daily activity, and a passion for sales will aid you well in this position
Enjoy being out of the office in front of people, you take initiative and are a self-starter with very good time management skills. You’ll be given a company vehicle, plus all tools of trade to operate autonomously
You possess an excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent personal presentation. Able to work independently with minimum supervision with excellent abilities to time manage and prioritize
You want to own your own region’s success, be responsible for significant customer revenue, be empowered to ‘do the deal’, and be hungry to win
A clean and valid driver’s license a must have
