A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Records Archivist / Data Analysts to join their Information & Records team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the effective management of critical information assets and ensure compliance with whole-of-government records requirements. The successful candidates will contribute to the accurate classification, sentencing, retention, and disposal of digital and physical records, strengthening organisational information governance. You will be offered an initial contract through 30 June 2026, with a possibility of extension, and hybrid working arrangements across QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW & SA.
Responsibilities
4. Reviewing digital and physical records to ensure accurate classification and sentencing.
5. Identifying records past retention period and preparing authorised disposal documentation.
6. Applying classification and sentencing using approved Records Authorities in Content Manager (TRIM).
7. Contributing to consistent records practices, audits, and compliance reporting
Qualifications
8. Experience in records or archives management in a digital environment.
9. Knowledge of the Archives Act 1983 and government records management requirements.
10. Hands‐on experience using Content Manager (TRIM) and applying disposal schedules.
11. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support consistent IM practices.
