Job Summary:
The Multi-Property Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and development programs across the Perth multi-property cluster. The role ensures all training initiatives are strategically aligned to Marriott’s brand standards, service culture, and business priorities. Acting as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to leaders, this role identifies capability gaps, translates operational and associates' needs into impactful learning solutions, and measures training effectiveness to ensure a return on investment. Training programs span brand service, leadership development, compliance, functional capability, and talent pipeline initiatives.
As an Individual Contributor, the L&D Manager is expected to demonstrate leadership through influence, collaboration, and personal accountability, while embodying Marriott’s Enterprise Leadership Behaviours: Curious, Courageous, Connected. Additionally, the L&D Manager serves as a custodian of the company culture
and is required to attend events and activities outside of regular business hours.
Candidate Profile:
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, Business, Hospitality, or related discipline
OR
Equivalent experience in Learning & Development within a hospitality or customer-centric environment preferred Certificate IV or Diploma in Training & Assessment (TAE) Experience delivering leadership and service-based training Familiarity with Marriott learning systems (e.g. DLZ)
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Training / Learning & Development, ideally within hospitality Demonstrated experience in:Training facilitation and program designLeadership and capability developmentCompliance training managementTraining needs analysis and evaluation
