As a growing organisation with a strong focus on operational excellence, we're seeking the right person to help lead and support our warehouse team.
About the role
This hands-on leadership role supports the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in coordinating all daily warehouse and delivery operations. As the 2IC, you'll oversee workflow, guide the team, maintain safety standards and ensure accurate, efficient order fulfilment. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Coordinate daily warehouse operations across the full inbound and outbound process, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch.
* Allocate tasks, run daily briefings and monitor workflow throughout the day.
* Oversee picking accuracy, staging and dispatch preparation.
* Verify run sheets and loading prior to delivery departure.
* Manage urgent orders, missed picks and real time customer issues.
* Maintain warehouse organisation, tidy pickfaces and safe storage practices.
* Enforce WHS procedures and support safety walks, toolbox meetings and incident reporting.
* Identify inefficiencies and support process improvements and system rollouts.
* Step into the Warehouse Manager role when delegated or during leave.
* Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
To be successful you will possess:
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and motivate a diverse team.
* Solid understanding of warehouse operations across inbound, pick/pack and dispatch.
* High organisation skills and confidence managing competing priorities.
* A calm, solutions-focused approach, especially under pressure.
* A current forklift licence and full Australian driver's licence.
* Minimum 3 years' warehouse experience; supervisory experience preferred.
* Experience using inventory or dispatch systems (advantageous).
