* Ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting of incidents, investigations, and recovery activities in line with WHS legislation and departmental policies.
* Maintain contact with injured workers, providing support, coordinating medical certificates, and assisting with return-to-work arrangements.
* Coordinate immediate safety actions post-incident to protect staff, preserve evidence, and support early recovery efforts with centre management and WHS staff.
* Collaborate with Injury Management Officers and supervisors to identify suitable duties and facilitate a smooth, supportive return-to-work process.
* Participate in medical case conferences and assist with action tracking and resolution of barriers to recovery.

This opportunity will be temporary 2 years with a possibility for extension.

What we’re looking for

* Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation and compliance standards, with experience in risk assessment, hazard management, and maintaining safety suites.

* Can demonstrates professional experience in an equivalent role or transferrable skills, with strengths in the areas of critical thinking and problem solving.
* Proficient in the use of departmental record keeping systems and Microsoft Office.
