The Care Services Assistant plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfillment through the delivery of person-centred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice.
* Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals is an essential part of this role.
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
* Excellent customer service skills,
* A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents,
* Previous experience in hospitality and/or commercial kitchens (highly regarded),
* A willingness to take direction from others and work as part of a team,
* Reliability and flexibility to work various shifts,
* Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
