Job Description
Facilities Maintenance serves as a facilities supervisor for multiple M&K Truck Centers locations. This role is responsible for overseeing remodeling, repair, general maintenance, building improvements, and occasional construction special projects. Facilities Maintenance will manage subcontractors and serve as the primary source for cost estimation on facilities projects.
Facilities Maintenance will handle a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Cost estimation for projects
2. Subcontractor bidding and management
3. Drywall installation and repair
4. Painting
5. Plumbing
6. Electrical work
7. Landscaping
8. Concrete repair
9. Carpentry and framing
10. Tile installation
11. HVAC maintenance and repair
Essential Functions:
1. Conduct inspections of M&K facilities to identify electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, or other deficiencies
2. Plan and implement improvements and corrections in facilities engineering
3. Complete complex assignments within deadlines
4. Manage subcontractors and their project timelines
5. Inspect work performed by team members and subcontractors for quality and completion
6. Provide recommendations to the Facilities Manager
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Is able to travel (approximately 75% of the time) between facilities and project sites across multiple states
2. Occasional commercial airline travel
3. Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or building maintenance
4. At least 2 years of experience overseeing mechanical and electrical systems
5. Has a valid driver's license with medical card
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
