Job Description: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence and driving revenue growth across the Mining, Industrial, and Civil sectors in regional Queensland. Your main focus will be identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting tailored solutions to key decision-makers in these industries. Key Responsibilities: Identify and target key clients and sectors within the Mining, Industrial, and Civil industries in regional Queensland. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, actively exploring upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs. Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions to meet client specifications. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Requirements: Proven success in business development and sales within the Mining, Industrial, or Civil sectors, ideally with experience in piping systems or related products. Strong knowledge of the regional Queensland market, including key players and industry trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel within the region as needed. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
