An opportunity exists for a proactive individual who would like to grow with an emerging Internet Services and IT Services Provider.
This position will suit someone starting in the IT industry and must hold a current Drivers license with a car to visits customers as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as IT Technician or understanding of Hardware, networking, Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
Excellent communication ability and professionalism
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners and help train customers to use
Monitoring and maintaining customer computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Provide technical support to our existing customer base
Organize and schedule customer upgrades and maintenance
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
Maintain records /logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Understand Basic Networking and VLAN Management
Maintain IT hardware and software license register of customers
