About the Role
The Defence Airport Support Specialist will provide logistical support for explosive ordnance and military equipment within a civilian airport environment. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with defence safety standards and facilitate seamless coordination between military operations and airport authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the transport, storage, and handling of munitions and military equipment within the airport precinct, ensuring compliance with defence and aviation regulations.
* Enforcing strict safety protocols in accordance with defence explosive ordnance standards and airport security procedures.
* Acting as a point of contact between airport operations and defence personnel, facilitating smooth coordination during military exercises, deployments or emergency responses.
* Maintaining accurate records of ordnance movements, maintenance activities and incident reports to ensure traceability and accountability.
